"Boletoid" fusoid/elongate ovoid, smooth, hyaline/Yellowish in KOH.
Print: Cinnamon brown.
Basida: Cylindrical 4-sterigmate.
Hymenial cystidia: In bundles, clavate/fusiform, golden brown in KOH.
Pileipellis: An ixocutis and a cutis where worn off.
Clamp connections: Not found.
KOH: pinkish red on cap and flesh.
Ecology: Growing directly under Lodgepole pine.

"Boletoid" Subfusiform, smooth, light brown-yellow in KOH.
Print: Ochre/gray.
Basidia: clavate 4-sterigmate.
Hymenial cystidia: Cylindric, encrusted, brown in KOH. Frequent to scattered.
Caulocystidia: clavate, found in large bundles, brown in KOH
Pileipellis: An ixocutis. The subpileipellis contained thick swollen brown incrusted hyphae as well as golden refractive hyphae.
Clamp connections: Not found.
Ecology: Found growing scattered under spruce.

I exited the building, the cold air on my face greeted me. I began my walk.

Over by the trees, a flock of American Robins and European Starlings converged. Some perched on branches while others searched for worms in the grass. As I skimmed over the birds, I spotted one that was very strange. It was very white, an aberrant!

The "Ghostly Robin" stayed on the ground. It had patches of white on its breast and back. It would quietly cheep.

I followed the robin to some berries. It flew up onto a branch and started to snack, throwing berries into the air and catching them with its beak.
