The 40X magnification shows many spheroids that I do not know the purpose of. They may be remnants of its digestion or air bubbles. The blue is magnificent at higher magnification. Found at the Outback Farm. I also observed it eating another glass snail.

I find the multicolored bumps on the weavil to be utterly fascinating, they shimmered and changed color iridescently as the light moved across the creature. If anyone can tell me what these structures are I would be highly appreciative. These photos were taken at 40X and 100X magnification by tilting a microscopslide at an angle towards the objective.
