Variegated Fritilary along Bird Watcher path at Five Rivers
The Mississippi Kite nest is documented on ebird for Saratoga, NY. I am probably the only person in the area that has been there multiple times and have only seen the Mississippi kite once and it was soaring very high up. There are many wonderful photos on ebird of the pair.

I identified this as a Ruby Meadowhawk because of the black triangles along the side of the abdomen, the grayish face and the splotch of orange at the wing base.
