Confirmed by Jim Pringle, Royal Botanical Gardens' pre-eminent botanist :)
Oddly growing on one of our restoration sites (Carroll's Bay slope); it wasn't there the following year, just an annual. Probably planted by a squirrel that was hand-fed raw peanuts.
