Description
What appears to be a female, has just caught an ant and is enjoying her meal. Right then, a male appears and starts a courtship display. Unfortunately she was too focused in her meal to entertain his advances and quickly exited the scene. Credit to @benjamin_fabian for clearing that out.

This is the largest Thomisus Crab Spider I have ever seen. I thought it was an accidental giant but I was wrong. We found more than half a dozen of them occupying Ipomea flowers and all of them were humongous in size!
After I found the female I chanced upon a male just a few inches away from her and I decided to make a picture to show the size difference between them. So I carefully placed the male near the female and got a shot of them.
Looked like both of them were flummoxed by this strange turn of events :-D
The female is on the right and male on the left.

Neogea nocticolor
Surprise find in our farm,in the beginning of month.
Last year i found this species with eggsac, which was spotted by Sri Shivaprakash sir at malleshwara hillock .
There are few sighting of this species from sagara, kodagu, beeruru etc.
I assumed this species is found in western ghat or border of Ghats .But today i saw Neogea juvenile in front of my home !
will post adult picture from malleshwara hillock in my next post .

Three roosting flies are missing !
They are cleverly caught by Gnathopalystes species ( Huntsman spider) .I was really surprised to see , How this Huntsman spider caught Three of them. Slightest movement will make these flies allert.Still This spider has managed to catch three of them . We can also see a dragline in between neem leaves. This spider came back to neem leaf, where flies are roosting & again caught the roosting flies !

Harmochirus sp - nest and egg sac
These tiny jumping spiders are usually found on the ground amongst leaf litter.
As expected I found this mother Harmochirus jumping spider and her egg sac/nest on the ground amongst the grass. The egg sac was inside a curled dry Lantana leaf.
She was kind of anxious. Walking all over the egg sac and occasionally going inside the opening of the nest as well. Perhaps the egg sac is inside the nest here.

Here is a set of pictures showing the typical moves the male makes in the process of mating.
- The male approaches the female from the front
- The male persuades the female to turn around
- The female turns around
- The male positions himself to lift the female's abdomen up
- The male lifts the female's abdomen using his right leg 1. (notice the supporting limbs)
- The male lifts the abdomen higher and quickly inserts a pedipalp

Description
Smartness of Hamadruas ?
Yesterday I was on my regular walk with my camera. I saw something unusual.
Hamadruas sp, spider was guarding its eggsac, which was over hibiscus leaf !
Seeing Hamadruas with eggsac on leaf is not unusual.
its typical of this genus where spider suspends leaf with eggsac through its silk.
What was unusual here is, Instead of the spider using its own silk to Hang the leaf, Hamadruas had just dropped the leaf over the CYCLOSA web !
poor cyclosa had moved to one corner with its damaged web !
Hamadruas has now got primary support for its eggsac, & its definitely easy to give strength for hanging leaf though its silk.
Though I usually see Hamadruas over leaf hanging, I never saw its process !
This could be one of the processes, how Hamadruas protects its eggsac !
