Just beyond the Harkess Rock lighthouse is a small sandy bay. On the northern side of the this bay is a rocky outcrop, the butterwort is located in a wet flush where the rocks end and the grass begins. Caution needed at high tide as the rocky outcrop is isolated from the beach. safe enough to access from the Coast Path.
