This shark has a rope caught in its mouth - no hook visible, and about ten to tweleve metres of trailing rope. An attempt has been made to try and help her last week involving my local dive shop and Seaworld staff, and another attempt will be made this week. I got close enough to grab the rope and try to cut it, but she accelerated away and I had a large camera which prevented me from following her. Very sad although she looked in reasonable condition today. She was sighted on both our dives but was not congregating with the other sharks at this island - more off on her own.

This was the only one of these I noticed the entire trip. When not "flashing", it looked just like all of the other flasher/fairy wrasses, but turned a beautiful purple (to the naked eye) with its nuptial displays.

Drama. These guys all normally get along pretty well, but here a squirrel decided to start something and nearly got kicked in the head as reward. Moments later they were back to munching sunflower seeds side-by-side again.
