Extremely disappointed not to have gotten clearer shots of this skittish centipede, since it quite likely represents an undescribed species. No Otostigmus has ever been recorded from St. Lucia, though its neighbors in the Lesser Antilles both have their own endemics (salticus described recently from Martinique, and spiculifer in St. Vincent). The well-defined tergal keels resemble spiculifer and some of the mainland species like scabricauda.

Saw 4 skinks under a cover object and a clutch of 11 eggs. Three of them were adult females (2 pictured here) and the other one was an adult male that was bigger than them.
One of the eggs was pink and may have had a crack in it.
I was able to catch one of the females that was away from the eggs (not the one that was with the eggs).
