Description
I think that might be a Baja California Tree Frog on a Rough-skinned Newt. Found at Double Ponds in Pepperwood Preserve.

Description
Found this little guy on a flower it might have been nibbling on. (I saw it feeling around with its mouthparts.) I can’t see any wings, so it might be a juvenile.

Description
This adult cicada was sitting on a fence a couple yards from where I found an exuvia earlier in the day. I didn’t notice it earlier. It sat there silently and didn’t fly away even when I got very close.

Description
Three coyotes (I presume) were sitting at an access pipe at the edge of a local creek. They looked pretty young. When they saw me, they stared for few seconds, then left through the pipe. I managed to snag a single picture of them before they went away.
