~2 mm body. Was observed floating on the surface of water in a bucket. She was able to walk up the side and get to the edge where time was spent drying off. Outside temperature 79 degrees F with nights in the low 50's. Expert, Jeong Yoo originally ID'd to species. See similar observation set.

Came across a trapper, he says that a number of the possums in this bush block are blind (milky eyes). Some with one blind eye, some with both eyes blind. Interestingly the blind possums are sometimes in very good condition. 2 out of the 6 possums pictured here were completely blind. He’s contacted DoC who say it might be genetic. Mentioning this in case anyone finds it interesting.
