This is the largest Quiver Tree colony in the Kamiesberg, and one that has continuous recruitment, as most of the Kamiesberg populations do.
This was not part of the 1987 monitoring set, but has been added as it is one of the most significant Kamiesberg populations.
At some stage someone should come and map all of these Kamiesberg populations. In the wetter areas they seem to be prone to beetle attack, but in the drier eastern areas of the massif they are doing very well.
