Found this toad laying on his back on my backyard patio. When I turned him over, I noticed a gash behind his left eye. He was struggling and obviously in great pain.
I applied Benzocaine to his belly, back and the would. He peacefully passed into sleep. I placed him in my freezer where he will stay until I advised to bury him. Even though toxic you my dogs and clearly suffering, I hate ending any life.

Predator/Prey (?) interaction between a very loud frog and a very small snake who is currently biting its ass. For some reason. This snake is obviously too small to eat the frog so idk what it’s trying to even do here. I think it might be a Pine Woods Littersnake.
