Description

Caps and stipe whitish with light brown at the centre of the cap. Cap is convex slightly squarish shape, flattening at the top of the cap.
Stems averaging between 6 and 10cm high
Caps between 7cm and 11cm wide
Ring about two-thirds up the stipe, moveable and doubly-attached, with a cog-wheel patterning in the underside of ring.
Bruises bright yellow, especially at the base of the stipe.
Gills light to dark brown, free from the stipe.

Spore print dark chocolate brown
