Description
this snake popped up from under the rocks on my pond's waterfall. It was stationary with its head up like this for a good while. It would occasionally rock back and forth a couple of times, perhaps trying to impersonate at plant waving in the wind. It moved back into the rocks and popped up in a different spot, freezing for a few seconds before moving off. About six inches away from it's last location was a small Southern Leopard Frog, which it might have been hunting. The frog didn't move for about 10 minutes.
