I've never seen this colour combo of iridescence on all the scarabs I've observed on the Tiwi Islands throughout my entire life growing up here.
My pics don't do it justice, the white parts were almost an iridescent silver colour.
Very interested in this specimen!

Description
Resting on an understorey plant. At a quick glance, I initially thought it was a bird dropping. The white hairs give it the appearance of being infected with an entomopathogenic fungi, maybe as a deterrent to predators...? Definitely the most amazing cerambycid I've ever seen!
Update: this species finally has a name! The paper naming and describing it can be freely downloaded from here: https://doi.org/10.54102/ajt.iv1x5

This is the first time I've noticed/photographed a bee like this. They caught my attention as several were feeding and flying about a single flowering shrub (Styphelia ericoides). I collected this one from the swarm for a closer look ... see also field shots ... https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/183632983
