Found in cut off branch of Swan Inlet river. Water fairly brackish as area floods in winter and early spring. One plant community found measuring approximately 3m x 1m.

A green spider, could be native or non-native tot he Falkland Islands. It was noted in Gorse which is a non-native species and so far not seen anywhere else but it is believed that this spider was once abundant.

I was told that the Falkland Islands have no native bees and wasps, I assume that Syrphidae play an important role as a pollinator and would like to know more about that. Anyone have some knowledge of pollinators of the Falkland Islands?
