Description
Short and stout blush/peach/creme colored mushroom found growing on a patch of moss in a wooded area (loblolly pines and mixed hardwoods). Several other tiny mushrooms nearby. Cap velvety (almost fuzzy textured). Stipe tapers from pink to cream. Darker pink flesh revealed when I cut the cap. No gills under cap (possibly tiny pores?). No odor detected.

This is the counterpart (male or female) of the butterfly with no name at this point. The hope is to have the name "Ajachel" as part of it's name; Ajachel being the name of the local tree on which it feeds, in the Kachiquel language.

Description
According to the entomologist of the reserve whom I met, this butterfly has not yet been given a scientific name. It thrives on a tree by the name of Casimiroa tetrameria, Matasano in Spanish and Ajachel in the Mayan Kakchiquel language.
I was lucky enough to be let in an enclosed area, not open to the public, where various butterfly species can breed. Unfortunately, although I have taken pictures of both male and female specimens, I forgot which one is which.
