On the Brunkerville Trail, just inside the Sugarloaf State Conservation Area. A single male calling high in either a Red Gum (Angophora costata) or a stringybark growing right beside it.
Thanks David Emery for the head start on identifying it!
Male Black Prince calling high in an Agonis flexuosa in concert with a few others. The recording is of a different male nearby.
Good numbers of Black Princes spread throughout Callan Park in isolated patches. In Blackbutt (E. pilularis), Spotted Gum (E. maculata), Casuarina (cunninghamiana?), Jacaranda mimosifolia, Agonis flexuosa, and a dead Indian Coral Tree (Erythrina variegata), which had the most activity.
