Identified using iNaturalist.
Belonging to the kingdom Fungi and phylum Basidiomycota. It can be identified by its white/cream coloring that yellows with age, with an underbelly of white gills.

Description
Rather large basidiomes in caespitose clusters growing on pine stumps with green staining most evident on caps. Small, erect, red pincushion like scales on cap.

Description
Smells like soap, has attached gills. Cap is up to 1 cm in size. It is less than 1 inch tall. It has a dark grey spore print. The stem is hollow inside.
Grows individually or in pairs on mulch with sandy soil.

Description
found growing gregariously on wood chips
spores and cystidia shown at 400X magnification. spores are globose asymmetric to ovate asymmetric to lemon shaped and 8 to 9 microns tall and 7.5 to 8 microns wide. cystidia are about 15 microns tall and distinctly ovoid shaped.

Abundant in area on cypress. wetland area right off 557. Flesh soft. pilepellis dry. Stipipellis dry and reddish in some sections. only seen on cypress, and seen multiple times on that date.

Growing at the base of a cabbage palm in oak hammock next to spring fed creek, no UV reaction, did not try KOH, yellow margin around cap turns black after collecting, stipe turns a blackish brown color after being picked then the whole mushroom turns black-last photo, dna/its, moderate recent rains, mid to high 90s

Collection number: 3786. Collected on 9/16/2017. The specimen was annotated by Rebecca Beck. Ecology: Dimensions: The specimen was 25mm high. The pileus or specimen was 17mm wide. The specimen was 4mm high at the center. The stripe was 16mm with a width of 3mm at the apex and 3mm at the widest point. Other identifying features: The odor is musty.
