I am a conservation ecologist based in northern Botswana representing the Okavango research institute and the University of New South Wales. The focus of my research is human-wildlife conflict and developing community led sustainable coexistence strategies.
Currently I am specifically focused on documenting Botswana wildlife roadkill as this is debatably our most common conflict we experience but we know little about it. This data will be used to assist in determine hotspot accident areas, identify species at risk and will help us create road safety strategies.
Please check out the Botswana Wildlife Road Program for more information.
