Made to address https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/655133. This complex was added so that IDs could be made for the undescribed forms. Having this as an option allows these to be identified beyond Lepomis, where they are not particularly findable, and to ensure that distribution maps of L. megalotis do not conflict with other resources. Additionally there many locations where introgression occurs therefore its unclear which species is present.
