1328 species were identified! Most common being Red Deadnettle (474), Common Mallow (409) and Herb Robert (393).

Over the many months, Essex Bioblitz 2023 observations covered a large area of East England. From Cambridge (White Helleborine) and Felixstowe (Sea Spurge) to London (Ivy-leaved Toadflax) and Isle of Sheppey (Watermint).

Thank you everyone!

Since Essex Bioblitz began on 31st of March, there has been 37 354 observations! Thank you to everyone who took pictures, observed, identified and participated in the project! The project ended on 30th of September, so over the next few blogposts it will be possible to look back at what was achieved!
