11,000 Observations and counting

Thanks to you we have now identified 590 Victorian marine species to research grade. Of these, 474 have only been photographed 10 times or less and of these 229 have only been sighted/photographed once. Additionally, 189 species don't even have a common name!

We are starting to make inroads towards creating a photographic library of the incredible marine life in Victoria for so many people to benefit from. It has been fun watching the images roll in and, the support from the marine community has been outstanding.

Keep the images coming, I am looking forward to celebrating 22,000 Observations!
