Cymophorus (Pseudocymophorus) hilaris (Boheman, 1857)

Easily distinguished by its blood-red abdomen, the orange-coloured elytra, with a broad irregular black sutural mark, and also by the hind part of the prothorax not being narrowed at the shoulders.

Type locality: Limpopo valley
