God Planted a Garden

Our loving Creator gave us everything we see around us to enjoy and provided us with exquisite senses of sight, hearing, feeling, tasting, and smelling to experience them to the full. God is good and His creation is beautiful.
Unfortunately we Christians often join forces with Satan in his work to destroy it.
On a deeper level (though maybe not the deepest), sin is that we think we know how to handle creation better than the Creator. "God, you created this place for a forest? Give me a break, we'll cut down all the trees and create billions of acres of agricultural fields!" "God, you want me to be completely transparent to my spouse and share everything? Give me a break, mine is mine, and my spouse is solely to serve me!"
We pray "Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done" But we work so that our name be hallowed, our kingdom come and our will be done. Even as Christians, especially when it comes to Creation.
