@biohexx1 , thanks for this post. I knew Shoshi was writing this article, but I didn't know it had been published yet. She contacted me before Christmas asking about our project. She had read an article by Dr. Frazer Shilling saying this site has the most documented amphibian roadkill in the world. So sad! I wish the county would do something about this. This is the 5th year citizen scientists have been collecting data (I'm not doing it any more because it's extremely depressing). Dr. Vonshak (@merav) is doing an excellent job leading the team.

It was published today, and I agree - I think she did a great job.
By the way, we are (desperately) looking for new volunteers - if you know anyone who is local and might be interested, please let me know. And for non-local people, we need your help as well, verifying our observations on iNat.
