BIRDS OF FLINDERS ISLAND- PROJECT- PHOTOGRAPHIC SPECIES LIST

The aim of this project is to develop a database of PHOTOGRAPHS of bird species taken on Flinders Island and the Furneaux Archipelago.

The purpose is to establish an accurate SPECIES LIST from which further observations may be made, to raise community awareness, encourage community participation and to advance community knowledge of BIRDLIFE.

The goal is to further the CONSERVATION of birdlife in the Bass Strait.

The area of interest includes Flinders Island, Cape Barren Island and the Furneaux Archipelago, a MAP of the area can be found in the Birdlife Birdlist on the following link.
