-vegetation ecology in the Netherlands/Nortwestern Europe

-systematics and chorology on European flora, especially Cyperaceae

-flora of Central and West-Africa, especially Boraginaceae, Anisophylleaceae, Cassytha (Lauraceae), Cardamine (Brassicaceae)

I am field botanist, my work can consist of up to 100 days of field work each year

But also (co) author of several flora's; Flore du Gabon (Boraginaceae, Ranunculaceae, Anisophylleaceae); Nova Flora Neerlandica (Pteridophytes & Carex) and (co) author of scientific articles on systematiscs and chorology
