It all started at age 6 when I made a terrarium at Brownie Camp using mosses. I'm very lucky to have had family and amazing teachers/mentors who could teach me about birds and plants. My first love is bryophytes but birds and vascular plants are a close second. I appreciate any advice and help with identifications.

My BIG project is the Calgary Natural Area Book update with Nature Calgary and the Alberta Native Plant Council. The original CNAB "Green Book", was published in 1980 and we want to do an update of the original 11 Calgary Parks to monitor the changes in our parks. We are primarily using iNaturalist for our observations. Our hope is to have this completed on the 50th anniversary in 2030.
