Patrick is currently a biologist and graduate student at the UF/IFAS Center for Aquatic & Invasive Plants in Gainesville, FL. He received a B.S. in Plant & Environmental Sciences from Clemson University in 2023. His current research focus is on the invasive aquatic sedge Cuban bulrush (Cyperus blepharoleptos).
