I am obsessed with the natural world around me. My "specialty" is to learn about plant species that are ecologically important, rare in cultivation or habitat, or just personally new and exciting. My passion is to propagate these species from seed and spread their unique genetics so they can be appreciated and conserved by as many people as possible. Since gardening/ horticulture got me deeply into plants and ecology, I love introducing these species to cultivation. With the recent uptick in development and habitat loss in Texas, my focus has become Texas endemic plants. I especially love the limestone-endemics "calciphiles"
