I’m passionate about gardening for wildlife and use native plants in my Florida garden, having moved here from Rhode Island. While my dream of studying biology never came to fruition, my love for nature, wildlife, and the outdoors remains strong. Indoors, I enjoy reading about biology, plants, animals, and permaculture.

I’m a proud companion to a rescue pit bull, Hope, who loves our nature walks, and a rescued cat, Myles, who’s been with me since 2011. I’m also vegan, for the animals and the planet.
