January 22 - February 1 2024, me and my family took a trip to Costa Rica. That is where I made 15+ observations and many more that I did not take pictures of. (I don't like to make casual observations.) We went to the Arenal Volcano, then to Monteverde, then to Manuel Antonio. We saw all sorts of things like Resplendent Quetzals, Howler Monkeys, and Costa Rican Redleg Tarantulas. Costa Rica is named Rich Coast for a reason. It is a diverse and flourishing ecosystem full of tropical plants and animals. It was a wonderful time, although I am disappointed that we did not see a Jaguar.

This post makes me want to visit Costa Rica. The diverse animal life brings to mind the sounds that you may have heard. I'd be interested to hear about the trees and flowers. I bet it was really colorful. Keep writing!
