A very brief journal post on the life cycle of the red admiral butterfly Vanessa atalanta
25th September 2021
I found a caterpillar close to home feeding on nettles. I could only see one, it was pretty exposed on the leaf.
28th September 2021
Now a full chrysalis
10th October 2021
And the butterfly has emerged!
