Smoke, Clouds and Rain

Cooler temps came with first wildfire induced haze mixed with clouds and eventually rain. These conditions contributed to numerous, vocal pikas when I hiked the Wolverine ridge trail at midday. The most interesting observation was discovering at least one pika using a culvert to gain access across a summer ski road to a talus field near his primary haystack.
