Nocturnal. Prefers heathlands and similar habitats, usually with flowering native vegetation. Occasionally reported from the Adelaide Hills but more common in the southern areas of the Fleurieu Peninsula at places such as Cox Scrub CP, Scott Creek CP, Myponga CP, Newland Head CP and Deep Creek CP. Rarely seen.
