The weather was nice, even cool in the shade.
Other roadkills - only a couple of honey bees and a beetle were found today. Maybe it was windy, and the wind got everything?
Coverage: north part - the county park parking lot till the second stop sign.

The rowing club was open. All county park parking lots were open, no street parking near the first County Park parking lot.

It was hot.
Other roadkills - a few insects, including a tarantula hawk, and a tiny fence lizard

The rowing club was open. All county park parking lots were open, no street parking near the first County Park parking lot.

July 22nd, 2020 (Wednesday) 9:30-11:00 am: no newts today! This is the 9th week with no newts (assuming there were no newts on the road last week. I wasn't there to check).
It was cool, very windy. No rain.
Other roadkills - a few insects.
Coverage: north part - the county park parking lot till the second stop sign.
Busy traffic: 8 trucks, 82 cars, 6 motorcycles, 8 bikes, 9 pedestrians.
The rowing club was open, with very load speakers, that can be heard from remote parts of the road. All county park parking lots were open.
