April 2020 is the 5th anniversary of the City Nature Challenge and the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Following our successful inaugural participation in the City Nature Challenge 2019, Nairobi City emerged second in Africa and . Globally, over 32,500 species were identified to live and thrive in cities

Join us as we celebrate the nature in and around urban areas by documenting all the species we can find!

We hope to do better this time. Let's mobilize more participants and increase the need to conserve our biodiversity. Demos and field events to help popularize the challenge an showcase it's ease will be coordinated in future, based on locations and logistics.
