I am a marine biologist specialized in sea turtle biology and conservation. I live and work at the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge, in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica where thousands of sea turtles simultaneously nest in events called "arribadas". In addition to sea turtles, I am fascinated by the biodiversity here and love observing wildlife. I am the Scientific Director of the Wildlife Conservation Association, a non-profit organization currently leading several citizen science initiatives in the area -- including promoting the use of iNaturalist!
