Reef Watch is a multi-award winning, marine citizen science program of the Conservation Council of South Australia.

Reef Watch contributes to the health of the marine environment by training community volunteers to monitor temperate marine environments using non-destructive, internationally recognised techniques. Volunteers generate valuable scientific data that allows adaptive management for conservation of the marine environment.
Reef Watch was set up in 1997 with the objective of training recreational divers to use scientific monitoring techniques to generate data about the state of Adelaide’s metropolitan reefs.
