I'm a conservationist that has maybe spent way too much time on remote islands. I look at the world through a holistic lens to understand and conserve endangered species and restore ecosystems. I am a little eccentric, enjoy botanizing, freediving, cheeky sharks and rays, curmudgeony plants, deep time, paleontology, mycoheterotrophy, and eating all the dumplings I can find. There are few things in life that really get you going like a good island radiation, am I right?
