I conduct fish surveys for Reef Environmental Education Foundation, primarily in Hawaii and the western half of the tropical Pacific Ocean. I am the top surveyor in terms of (1) knowledge of the tropical fishes in REEF's Central-Indo Pacific and South Pacific regions and (2) the number of surveys conducted (over 1,000 in those two regions).
