Hi, my name is Erik. I am an amateur photographer who lives in the Tweed Shire in far north-eastern New South Wales in Australia. I am very keen on identifying what I encounter on my day-trips with the camera, and so, the website will eventually become a record, of sorts, of what can be found in The Tweed and the national parks that surround it. My main interest is the photography itself and to create nice looking images of the subject. I do not have a particular field of interest within nature-photography as a whole, but have developed a bit of a soft spot for fungi and butterflies of late. Most other subjects are primarily opportunistic encounters but of late I have been targeting specific subjects on my day-trips.
I am currently working on a new web-site project that focuses on the 'Northern Rivers' region in N.W. New South Wales. (thenorthernriversproject.com.au) Its' nature, towns, national parks etc. If you live in the area and you think this might be something for you to get involved in, drop me a line.
