Retired veterinarian. Have travelled extensively. First passion is Australian birds, but , as a "citizen scientist", am trying to record what I can wherever I am, (more lately just using iPhone for small things and Nikon CoolPixP900 for birds and larger). I am loving iNaturalist, where a myriad of enthusiasts and experts almost immediately help decrease my ignorance! Maxim: while looking for the little things, big things happen.
