After studying marine biology at James Cook Uni in Queensland Australia I spent time as a reef guide and dive instructor. I've been a scientific diver and government dive officer, been involved in aquaculture research, trained as a trimix tech diver and been in fisheries, marine and environment government agencies for the last 20+ years. Lived the last 12 years in Adelaide, South Australia. I've dived here and there including Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Marshall Islands, Hawaii (where I was lucky enough to live for 14 years), California, Mississippi, Florida, Bali, Fiji, Solomon Islands and various bits of my home country Australia. I'm no expert but I love fish! Don't dive as much anymore but still love a bit of Vitamin Sea.
