My interest in nature is based on my love of Australia and its wilderness. I am in need of a website such as INaturalist because it devastates me to know that the wilderness and its wildlife are at such risk from Climate Change and the associated prolonged drought and weather conditions related to the wildfires. It encourages me to feel blessed for the interactions that I am able to experience. I live in Canberra ACT and I am not really going into the wilderness often but love the fact I can escape to the nature reserves around Canberra ACT to bush-walk and observe the fauna and flora.
