Individual sighted in the air about 50m north west of the site, chasing a small flock of Rainbow Lorikeets that were heading south east. Possibly immature as per Pizzey & Knight 7th edition.

Single adult individual observed in the middle of the day in a "rubber tree" in a very small front garden of a house. It was being bothered by approx half a dozen Noisy Miners and 2 Grey Butcher Birds. It didn't move from it's perch 2 metres up, for a number of hours.

A single bird sitting on a telegraph wire. It moved a couple of times from the wire to a street tree. Assuming it was hunting rats. We saw one at the same time running along one of the wires then dropping into a street tree. A Tawny Frogmouth visits the same wire a few times a year.

Approximately 20 individuals flying overhead in a straggly flock, calling out continuously. Other garden birds sounded the alarm eg Noisy Miners. Heading south east. Sighting of 11 individuals 2 hours earlier one street away.

Eleven individuals calling and flying between 2 large, adjacent trees. Very active. They kept fairly close together. A few were foraging in the native tree, but most were in the non-native tree. Perhaps these were juveniles as they sometimes gather in numbers after leaving the family group.

Individual male released after veterinary treatment, in an area where this species has recently been observed. Missing feathers on crown, and a few other body feathers. Upon release in shrubs, immediately began foraging. Photos show before & after release.

Deceased individual found under a verandah. Very maggoty. Originally ID's as Red-Necked Wallaby, but subsequent observations of live individuals suggest it should be a Swamp Wallaby.

Heading south. Photo taken with zoom lens. Other photos are screenshots zoomed in. Unusual wing beat. Single-minded direction of flight in a flock, like they were in for the long haul. They seemed larger than Rock Doves.
