Description

Found in the parking lot 13 on ucr campus in median between cars with rocks. 12 cm tall cap is 6 can wide. Has percurrent gills. Spores are chocolate brown and globose and smooth. Cap isn’t dissolving and has fibrils. Stipe is white but stains yellow when you cut it open. Pretty sure it’s a gastroid/secoitioid agaricus. Help @leptonia @theachesney @alanrockefeller

Description

Under a planted pine, maybe Monterey pine. Lots of black cystidia on skinny narrow stipe. Bright yellow at base of stipe under cap. Angular pores. Cap was once slimy as evidenced by pine needles stuck to top. Didn’t see any young specimens.

Description

Unbelievably abundant under coast live oaks. Saw at least 50. Grows in cespitose clusters. White spores. Very large. Has a blushing stain that turns brown. White smooth spores no amyloid reaction. Notched gills. Brown edges to gills.
