Just uploading this as more of a discussion than anything else. When I was young, I remember fishing at this freshwater pond, and this massive eel (probably about 1.5 meters long) cruised past me right next to the shore. It was either yellow with black splotches or black with yellow splotches (I can't remember exactly). And I'm just wondering what type of eel this could have been?
(The date is just an estimate, I don't know the exact date).
