Description

Small shrub to 15cm tall, wider than tall, with leaves upright almost appressed against stems. Leaves with long white hairs on both surfaces, moreso on lower surface. Stems hairy. Flower pedicels hairy. Flowers in heads of 10 - 16. probably Pimelea curviflora var. sericea.

Description

The main tussocky groundcover in Scribbly gum woodland. Leaves green up to 30cm long but most 15cm - 25cm x 3mm wide, flat or slightly incurved, scabrid margins, leaf tip entire or occasionally with 3 teeth, readily eroded. Male and female flowers. Fruiting.

Description

Small spreading to erect perennial with blue flowers about 30cm high with hairy stems. Leaves pinnatisect with segments linear about 8 mm long x 1 mm wide (look terete in photo but are actually flat). Not common, occasional plants in open sunny scribbly gum grassy woodland. PlantNet says it flowers October–February, so these must be late?

Description

Flower not fully open, however going with Chiloglottis trilabra because of its common names - Tall Wasp Orchid (because the plants were 150mm high, taller than most species around here) and Long Clubbed Wasp Orchid (because the clubs on the laterals were particularly long). The dark colour of the labellum, overall red colour of the plant, and flowering time also fits C. trilabra. Hundreds of plants regrowing after fire mid-December 2019, however only two found in flower.

Description

NSW 974081. Shrub to 60cm high, branches hairy, leaves upwards pointing to appressed, apex acute, margins recurved. Growing in a seasonally wet heath area with Kunzea parvifolia, Dillwynia phylicoides, Calytrix tetragona.
